We have fast horses for fast people;

Slow horses for slow people;

And for people who don't like to ride,

We have horses that don't like to be ridden!

Our Horses: The Ladies

Ginger

Ginger
Ginger is a Missouri Fox Trotter who is sure to put a smile on your face. She has an extra natural gait called the foxtrot, which is a combination of the walk and trot. It is very smooth and comfortable. She is gentle and intelligent and a lot of fun to ride.

Rita

Rita
Rita is a friendly and flashy Paint Mustang. Her parents were wild BLM horses. She is stocky and strong and very comfortable to ride. We call her the couch. She was originally a pack horse for a working ranch in Northern California.

Our Horses: The Guys

Casper

Casper
Casper is 36 years old and has earned his retirement - but only due to arthritis, not to old age. We have known horses to live to near 50 and work their entire lives. Casper lives a peaceful life at our stables. The hardest thing he has to do these days is humor all the people lavishing attention on him.

Scooter

Scooter
Scooter (Cayenne Pepper Doc) is Rooster's horse and the leader of the gelding herd. He's very social, smart, and energetic, and both people and horses are drawn to him. He sets a fast pace, whether in the arena or on the trail. He was a working ranch horse, and has been known to herd the other horses around the pasture just for fun.

Wampum

Wampum
Wampum is half Friesian. His dam (mother) was a wild horse living on federal land. The Friesian traces back to 1000 BCE and was prized by medieval knights for its solid strength. He's a lovely guy: friendly, sensitive, curious, great with kids, and calm with lots of commotion around him.
